SALTED COCAO COCONUT BALLS

Description

I am always looking for a quick protein snack to eat on the go. And I have tried many different combos over the years.

But this past weekend I knocked it out of the park. My family voted these the best batch I have ever made. They are soooooooo yummy I really had to share.

They are loaded with superfoods, good fats and protein and they satisfy your chocolates cravings too. Give them a try. Let me know what you think and don’t forget to tag me.

US (Imperial)

Print Ingredients

½ cup dark unsweetened cocao powder

½ cup maca powder

½ cup protein powder

¾ cup chunky peanut butter

1 cup of unsweetened coconut (flakes or shredded)

½ cup of oat bran

2 TBS date or maple syrup

1 tspn salt

1/3 cup of coconut oil

2 TBS vanilla

3 TBS of water (may need more if the mixture is too dry)

Additional dark unsweetened cocao powder for dusting

Instructions

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together with your hands to combine. Roll the mixture into 1-1 ½ inch / 2 ½ - 3 cm balls. Use a small sieve to dust with cocoa powder. Freeze in a ziplock bag and enjoy
